Described as a ‘rehearsal for the revolution,’ A Restless Year (2023) is a hack of Avery Alder’s map-drawing game The Quiet Year. In A Restless Year, you are invited to collectively imagine a city in the immediate aftermath of a revolution. Through storytelling and discussion, the players are invited to imagine the victories and challenges of collective liberation.
